Joey DeGraw is a widely known independent recording artist, songwriter, voice over actor, and entrepreneur. Originally from Monticello, New York, Joey started playing guitar at the age of five. Inspired by the sounds of Chris Whitley, Queen, Tom Petty, and the Beatles, he continued his passion for music throughout his school years writing and performing. When local musicians began to cover Joey's songs, people started to take notice of his natural raw talent. Chris Whitley noted, "What makes Joey such a deep writer and overwhelming talent, besides his god given gifts, is that ... it is all about music as an art form. He is a purist and the only young blood in music today that gives me hope."

The brother of Gavin DeGraw (RCA Records), Joey has packed the house at clubs across the country and around the world including venues such as Joe's Pub in New York City, House of Blues in Los Angeles and TLA in Philadelphia and he has also taken the stage at Harvard's Yard Festival, South By Southwest, the Jackson Hole Mountain Festival and the Blue Balls festival in Switzerland. He has appeared on television shows including CW11 in New York City, Fox TV Good Day Dallas and Fox TV Good Day Austin, and radio shows including The Jonathan Clarke Show on 104.3 FM in New York City and the Matt Pinfield Morning Show on 92.3 FM in New York City.

Joey's most recent record, Say Something Strong, was released in August of 2009 through Joey's own label National Underground Records, and included original hits "Another Mistake" and "Miracle of Mind." He recently recorded five new songs for a forthcoming EP. Both records were recorded with producer Steve Greenwell (Joss Stones' The Soul Sessions and Mind, Body & Soul). Guest appearances on his records have included Leslie West, Chris Barron of the Spin Doctors and Gavin DeGraw. A prolific writer, Joey has written many songs and has co-written with Chris Barron, Joss Stone and others.

Joey co-owns with Gavin the National Underground in New York City and Nashville. The National Underground features original music with stellar sound in an intimate setting along with a charcoal grill serving lunch, dinner and late night fare. The National Underground will be expanding to other cities soon. The club has attracted recording artists such as Norah Jones, Moby, Billie Jo Armstrong of Green Day and John Popper of Blues Traveler and Sports figures such as NASCAR Champion, Jimmie Johnson, who recently named The National Underground as one of his favorite places in New York City, in an NBC interview.

As if all that is not enough, Joey is a noted voiceover actor, having performed voiceovers for Denny's, A&E, Coca-Cola, Capri Sun, Gillette, iTUnes, Exxon Mobil. Joey is representd by CESD Talent in New York City.
